I love trees. (Who doesn’t, really?) There is something so timeless about a tree-named street. Nostalgic. Beaver Cleaver lived on Pine Street. Trees are one of the most common names for streets, according to Wikipedia. (2nd Street apparently is the most common.) I don’t know if there are more Oaks than Walnuts or Maples or Elms. Years ago, it occurred to me to research that, but I had no idea where to begin. And in the end, it really didn’t matter. Oak was it.
The house number came to me more recently. I reflected on how to choose a meaningful number that would define this journey.
Birthdays make me happy. (Especially my birthday.) A marker of growth and progress down the road of life. With cake! Given the import placed on this annual celebration, you might guess that I was born on September 23rd.
You would be right.
923 Oak just felt right. And so far, I’ve found 85 across the US.

Love this concept. Can’t wait to see this acorn of an idea grow into a tall oak of a website.
Can’t wait for more!
